Court Offices

  1. Circuit Court

    The court, including the judge, the Clerk, and all court staff, must remain impartial. They do not take sides in any matter coming before the court. They will give the same sorts of information to persons on both sides of a case.

  2. Clerk of Courts

    The Clerk's Office assists the Miami County Court Judges in the execution of their judicial duties by preparing, recording, and maintaining court documents.

  3. Community Corrections

    Our vision is that we will be a recognized and respected leader in our community by continuing to make a positive impact on those we serve.

  4. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)

    The CASA program began in 1977 in Seattle when a judge envisioned using trained community volunteers to represent the best interest of abused and neglected children in court.

  7. Probation

    The Miami County Probation Department serves the Miami Circuit and Superior Courts through the preparation of pre-sentence investigation reports, preliminary investigation reports and the supervision of misdemeanor, felony and juvenile offenders.

  8. Prosecutor

    The Prosecutor is the people’s lawyer in the criminal justice system. He represents the interests of all of the citizens of Miami County and the State of Indiana against perpetrators of crime.
