Vendor Bid Instructions

The opening bid for 2008 will be April 14th at 11 a.m. at the Miami County Courthouse Commissioner's room on the first floor.

Bids will be awarded April 21, 2008.

Bidding Procedures

  • Bids must be in a sealed envelope.
  • All bids must be received, stamped and entered by the Auditor's Office no later than April 14, 2008 at 11 a.m. EST.
  • Each bid is to be submitted on form Number 96 which may be obtained on the Indiana State Board of Accounts website, click on publication, then forms, then Contractor's Bid Public Work - Form 96
  • All bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid.
  • Bids for items with unspecified amounts and rental of equipment shall be accompanied with a bond or certified check equal to 10% of the bid.
  • On the lower left corner of your bid envelope write: 'Miami County Highway bid.'
